In the Blue Star Art District, you can find several galleries. However, the Blue Star Contemporary is the premier non-profit venue for contemporary art. Although this is not a traditional indoor gallery, the real art is far from traditional. In Essex, you can find murals painted on concrete walls in what was once an abandoned lot. Essex started with the idea of projecting art with the community. If you ever find yourself having a great day, head to this modern city.

UTSA Main Art Gallery (CLOSED TEMPORARILY)
