Karachi Arts Council to Hold Art/Sculpture Exhibition on September 30 to Help Flood Victims

KARACHI, (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News – September 29, 2022): Chairman of the Pakistan Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah said on Thursday that a unique exhibition of art and sculpture based on creations donated by renowned sculptors and painters from all over Pakistan as well as works by Sadiqin will be held at the Arts Council on September 30, to help flood victims.

This was stated by Ahmed Shah during a press conference at Haseena Moin Hall here.

Arts Council Chairman Ahmad Shah, Vice Chairman Munawar Saeed, Arts Council Secretary Ijaz Ahmad Farooqui, Director of Arts and Crafts Institute (ACIAC) Shahid Rasam and painter, l artist Muhammad Zeeshan gave a briefing on this occasion.

They said an art and sculpture exhibition will be held at Ahmed Pervaz Art Gallery at 5 p.m.

On this occasion, Ahmed Shah said, there is a terrible flood situation in Pakistan compared to the past. Rs 20 million was immediately donated by the Karachi Arts Council to the flood relief fund while ration trucks are sent to different parts of Sindh. We are distributing the ration in different parts of Sindh in a respectful manner, he added.

He said the Arts Council will also work for the rehabilitation of victims.

They said that a concert will be held at Karachi Gymkhana and various singers including Asim Azhar, Aima Baig and the young stunner Natasha Baig will perform at the concert.
