Helping Our Women and Cape Wellness Collaborative benefits from: 4:30-6 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Addison Art Gallery, 43 S. Orleans Road, Orleans. For information: https://addisonart.com. The Addison Art Gallery will hold a rally to benefit Helping Our Women and the Provincetown-based Cape Wellness Collaborative. Featured will be live music by Sarah Burrill; ongoing art discussions with Maryalice Eizenberg, Jonathan McPhillips and Amy Sanders; and an exhibition of new works by gallery artists.

Donna Pomponio, Love, Trust, Support, Options = Change: until February 27 at Provincetown Commons, 46 Bradford St., Provincetown. For information: https://www.provincetowncommons.org. The exhibit is a set of portraits by Donna Pomponio of her students from a high school diploma program for at-risk youth. The artist invites visitors to read some of the students’ “amazing stories” and chat with her. Pomponio is in residence at the Commons, and she can be reached at [email protected]
Works in wax: until February 28 at the Wellfleet Adult Community Center, 715 Old Kings Highway. For information: 508-349-0313. The Wellfleet Adult Community Center will feature Janet Lesniak’s work for the month of February. The collection in this exhibition is a collage of works created over the past two years using encaustic paint, oil pigment sticks and cold wax. Memories of landscapes, furniture, flowers, nests and abstract expressions of interior landscapes held together by strong, saturated color.

all good things: until March 6 at Provincetown Commons, 46 Bradford St., Provincetown. For information: https://www.provincetowncommons.org. The Commons is thrilled to team up with students from Provincetown Schools and host their “All The Good Stuff” exhibit. This show is a multigrade exhibition of pieces that are all inspired by social emotional ideas of empathy, love, self-care, kindness…all good things. Organized and created by students from Provincetown schools.
Fine Arts Work Center Visual Arts Fellows: until March 6, Provincetown Art Association and Museum, 460 Commercial St. https://paam.org. PAAM and the Fine Arts Work Center (FAWC) share a long history of collaboration and creative connection. Each year, Visual Arts Fellows in Residence at FAWC are invited to exhibit some of their work in progress at PAAM. The 2021-22 scholarship recipients are Ellen Akimoto, Austin Ballard, Kevin Brisco Jr., Widline Cadet, Sara Emsaki, Nick Fagan, Elizabeth Flood, Lavaughan Jenkins, Tom Pappas and Georden West.

The gallery is pleased to present an exhibition featuring selected works from our Summer 2021 season. The exhibition includes works by Mark Adams, Ramon Alcolea, Elise Ansel, Anne Beresford, Jen Bradley, Anthony Falcetta, Han Feng, Jennifer Amadeo-holl , Sarah Hinckley, Diana Horowitz, Kahn & Selesnick, Sarah Lutz, Dermot Meagher, Jeannie Motherwell, Francis Olschafskie, Anna Poor and Richard Saja.
Joel Meyerowitz Photographs from the permanent collection: until May 1, Provincetown Art Association and Museum, 460 Commercial St. For more information: https://paam.org. In 2021, PAAM received an unprecedented donation of 201 photographs from Joel Meyerowitz for its permanent collection. PAAM features over 80 of these photographs featuring artwork created on Cape Cod. This exhibit captures the light of Cape Cod through the lens of Joel Meyerowitz. This exhibition was made possible in part by William Rawn and John Douhan and in part by The Frame Center.

The Bowersock Gallery has announced new works by Sydney artists Bella Sparrow and Kevin Kusiolek. The gallery also announced its featured artist, Stanka Kordic, and featured sculptor John Brickels.
