TAG Announces 2022 Summer Art Camps






High Point, North Carolina 03/17/2022 TAG, Theater Art Galleries, located at 220 E. Commerce Ave, announces the return of its Summer Art Camps, allowing families with art-interested children ages 5-14 to register online to the art camps that will take place on July 5and until August 4and2022. Visit TAG on tagart.org for a description of each camp as well as registration and pricing links.

TAG is thrilled to partner with the High Point Museum for our first summer camp, “Step Back In Time”, starting July 5and – July 8and. This camp will be located at the High Point Museum. All other camps will be held in the Kaleidoscope Youth Gallery upstairs at TAG, 220 E. Commerce Ave. The list of camps is as follows:

  • “Step back in time” open to 5-10 year olds from July 5and – 8and (located at the HP Museum)
  • “Form: The 3-D World” open to 9-14 year olds from July 11and – 14and
  • “Under The Sea/Creatures and Me” open to 5-8 year olds from July 18and – 21st
  • “Music Masterpieces” open to 5-9 year olds from July 25and-28and
  • “Ink, Stamp, Printing” open to 8-12 year olds from August 1stst-4and

All camps are held from 9 a.m. to noon. A snack and water will be provided, but students can also bring their own snacks and water.

TAG was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1996 and is now in its 25th year of independent operation. Since the High Point Theater facilities opened in 1975, the Theater Art Galleries have been High Point’s primary provider of visual arts. TAG’s mission is to provide visual art exhibits and educational experiences for the enrichment of the entire community.
